Original used OEM hood tachometer 1968-72 GTO. It will also work for 1968-69 Firebird. The part number is 988662 and the 1969 Pontiac parts book shows it fits GTO, Firebird and Grand Prix. I was told the unit worked when I purchased. The rubber wire grommets are soft and pliable.
