I can say from my experience that I never saw a Pontiac Dealer kit for a f body dated from 71 and up to have a Green button. This does Not conflict with OPH . We installed a bunch, and when we didn't have a F body kit, we used the Bigger yellow buttons from big car kits, in Firebirds. Yes they fit fine, just make a bigger hole. Ordered the release , used our in house black ground, and a standard fuse box power lead.
The yellow small and large are far more common as OPH says.
The release is inside the glove box for Valet reasons.
Over the years many have sold open kits with miss matched parts and claim they are for a F body. Most are Not. Kits for Le Mans , Catalina, Bonney's etc were Much more common.

I bought a loaded 71 TA many years ago.....from the original owner...and IIRC...it came with remote truck release...and a green button...I robbed the whole assembly....for another car....but think it is still in my stash somewhere......If I can locate...I will post...
