I see what you mean. If the VIN on the dash looks good, I wouldn't question it. I've seen many cars doing a frame off that take off the trim tag (I wouldn't). But if that was changed, then it is a re-badge. Is there anything wrong with doing a re-badge resto on a totaled GTO?
