They sold you on a more expensive muffler. And it would have been better if they went to a larger case. Not sure you got your money's worth on that swap, if you wanted to get quiet, but it's done now.

You could have saved time by just going to the shop and telling them you wanted it quieter, and not just your time....

As most of us were trying to tell you, so I won't belabor the point.

A pair of these with reducers to 2-1/2" will do wonders fitted in your tailpipes.
