G'day Ian
I did purchase it from a bloke in Bundy QLD.
He said he got it from an auction company on the Goldie over 10 years ago.
It's had some rust repairs and a new coat of paint, maybe just before sale .
Remember the flooding and mouse plauges in QLD 2 years ago, guy was a cane farmer and I think it was stored on a dirt floor as all the underbody has no black paint left some rust in the rear bumper ,looks good on the outside.
I don't think it was a flood victim.

I have rust converted and painted the underbody.
I have had it on stands in my carport since I drove it 400 odd miles with no power , missing a beat all the way home.
At this stage I want to get it running a lot better if possible, I had not planned to pull the 350 out, BUT the Pontiac Dude 455 in the Bonneville will fall straight in the GP , then with a reconditioning of the original 67 400 back in the Bonneville.
Keep buying lotto.

The Queensland Pontiac club I run with has a member with a really nice white 1977 GP ,he was the only car of that generation till now.
Not a common Pontiac in OZ, unlike them GTO , FIREBIRD and TA's .Darksider for ever brother.

It came into OZZYVILLE about 15 years ago with a lifetime garrentee on the TH400 ,came with a bit of service history , ownership, and the like.
I will make a nice driver as they are known for being comfortable with good handling and braking.

You gotta love this forum , the help from the master coach's is invaluable for a certified bush mechanic like me.
