I guess anything is possible. The first set of seals I put on were a set of Sealed Power seals I had left over. I know they were 11/32". For the second set I actually ordered the Edelbrock seals that Edelbrock sell for the head. I know it will just be a rebrand but it should be the same damned seal they build them with, right? That's what is on there now.
Edelbrock are too cheap to give you the little install condom but I had a couple from the Sealed Power set and I used them with plenty oil both times. That's why the only thing I could think of was a seal maybe "riding up". But they are all down and seated...
