It seems that the matter of the Rods being installed backwards, may not have happened, if one had extra Rods in stock. Those that assume other than that are not thinking out of the box. There is more than one way to skin a cat. However, in my case I can't reason why a mechanic installed 7 Pistons backwards while the #2 Piston was in Installed as factory. Why not get the correct part and install #2 to the rear direction, that's what he should have done to be consistent. There he cut a corner; I believe. However, how could #2 cyl. ever be a problem when it is factory correct.
