With #1 cylinder in firing position (valves closed) aim the rotor tip and vacuum advance fitting 90° to the lenght of engine pointing to drivers side fender when installing distributor.
Then with distributor in place youŽll have the rotor pointing to the drivers seat and thereŽs were the #1 ignition cable should sit.
