Surprised mgarblik that the connecting rod you show did not have a letter code on the rod beam of the rod. Example "A" rods, "E" Rods, "L" Rods, "M" Rods, etc.
Must have been very early rods by the "Forging House" on the Lake Michigan side of the state. I have personally owned rods with all of the letters above as well as Ra-V rods.
