Not that I maybe any help to you, but in situations like this you pretty much need to take the exhaust pipe and modify it to suite your manifold. Nice if you have a chop saw and welder to cut and tack stuff. Looks like the exhaust pipe is cocked on the manifold as you noted. A good muffler shop can always make you a new piece of pipe for the manifold connection, and you can modify it to suite your manifold. Still need to custom fit it.
