Suggestion: Do not "practice" on an engine you care about. Head to the Treasure Yard, buy some craptastic core--Chevy, Ford...whatever you can get cheap. "Practice" on a sacrificial engine that you can screw-up and not shed tears over.
Saw the note on one posted photo about reusing a 3-hour-old head gasket. Woof. The gasket has been crushed, reuse is NOT recommended.
