I've seen/heard this too. Repops generally are not to level of quality and fit compared to an OEM part. I believe most are made overseas with questionable quality control. OEM parts are so expensive today and a RAIV intake will cost you thousands so many people are turning to the repops. That is fine, but generally, despite what some people say, an OEM part is much better. However, unless the car is going to be a correct restoration, is an OEM part worth the added cost is the question.
