Here is the placement on my red 70 convertible. I installed them myself 30+ years ago and I don't recall how I knew where to put them. There is no indication of position on origional or aftermarket panels, and I can't find anything in the Fisher Body Manual or the Assembly Manual.
Also, there were 4 screws in the bottom of each panel that held the panel to the door. Were they black to match the carpet or standard chrome trim screws?
