I’m with the factory distributor Accel points crowd either triggering a box, or not. I’ve experienced failures with MSD and HEI so for me simple is good.
Considered Progression but the price and seeing the coil cook one of these units discouraged me.

With an automatic and a decent converter is the shape of the curve really all that important anyway? Just make sure it doesn’t advance at idle and is all in at flash stall. Put 20ish degrees in the distributor, add 10 degrees vacuum advance, set your total. Done
