I'm trying to sort out my plan for adding Vintage Air to my car. I currently have a 2000 5.3. I have ICT billet brackets for PS and alternator. I've been looking at using their compressor bracket also.

Question is concerning the factory truck compressor. I think they are variable displacement. Have read that this may not be compatible with Vintage Air. Truck pulley is 4-rib. Vintage air only lists an 8-rib option. Might work with a 4-rib? One guy said he used this Denso compressor:
