Alma is an American company which has the original GM tooling to make the A6 compressor. They also use a lip seal instead of the original ceramic seal.

Nothing against the Proten aluminum compressor, but if you want an A6 the Alma is the way to go.

Also be advised Alma puts mineral oil into that compressor, so if you want to go with R-134a, you'll need to drain the oil and replace with PAG. OP said he's going to use R-12, so the oil the compressor comes with is fine.
