Went to FirebirdFest in St Louis MO this week. The weather started out wet but improved as the week went on. Turn out was good, haven't heard final numbers yet. There were maybe 20 first gens, a lot of 2nd and 4th gens and a handfull of 3rd gens. Really a well run event.
On Friday the day started off with a show at Gateway Classic Cars with all cars parked by generations. Just by chance I pulled in and parked next to another Carousel Red '69. As I was talking to the oner of that one another one pulled in next to me. I do know the oner of the other convertible but the coupe owner is now a new friend.
We left there on Sunday morning and stopped in Pontiac IL for Firebird Day at the Museum. Just had to get a group photo at the Rt 66 mural. It was a beautiful day and we were "top down" all the way home.
