No screw. There is a metal backing plate riveted to a plastic frame that the mirror looks to be glued to. The backing plate is a stamping with a socket. The ball is pressed into a metal casting that gets screwed to the housing of the mirror.
I currently have it gooped up with some industrial adhesive, so it's not disassembled for pictures. Though, with the glue, it is fixed in one spot, which did not dry where I really need it.
Next swap meet near me, I'll look for a good one. I might have to paint it. The car is Goldenrod Yellow. Not many of them.
