Well, it's been a while since I updated this thread...

Long story short, the guy who was helping me with the metal work turned out to be a total hack. The rear quarters were nowhere near close to fitting correctly, the rockers weren't done correctly, the firewall took an ass whooping from an air hammer, amongst a ton of other issues. It wasn't good. I have it all documented via a ton of pics and measurements.

Now, before my stress levels continue to rise talking about that fat ass, I have good news! The 70 is in great hands at a shop in NH, that is well known to turn out some incredible cars. They're actually working on another 70 RAIII in white on tan.

So here's a pic of how she currently sits. Pulled the quarters back off, pulled the roof skin, and sent the car out to blasting. Then put it in the booth and sprayed the first round of red oxide primer on the skeleton, so once the new panels go on, everything behind them is well protected.
