Great thread! Kudos to JSchmitz for starting it. I love the 70's vintage Pioneer car stereo equipment that some of you have posted. That stuff wasn't in my budget back in the day.

I started this setup back in 82 when I dropped in to a pawn shop and saw the amplifier on a shelf. I gave the man $99 and have been rocking it ever since. Speakers, tape players, CD players, receivers, and turntables have come and gone but, the 9500 has never disappointed me.

I would be remiss if I didn't give a big thanks to Doug at Audio Specialties who has kept the unit in tip top shape over the years.

To keep the missus happy I built a cabinet to hide it away and the big old Klipsch speakers had to be traded for some wall mounts as part of the deal with her. 🙂
