I don't have my new cap and rotor yet but, I put it back together with the damaged ones so I could get the carb setup and so I could see where the timing was set so when I put in the new parts I know where to start. UPS will be here with the new parts later today so I'll do that tomorrow. Then I'll be back in business.

I have to issue a correction. I didn't realize how much my idle speed changed when I adjusted the mixture screws. I had it at 775 rpm, after the idle mixture was adjusted, the vacuum did go up to 16", but the idle speed also went up to 1000 rpm. When I decreased the curb idle to 800 it went down to 15". Still pretty good.
