These were a USA only thing (just like the Quad4-W41 Oldsmobiles) - I didn’t know anything about these GP’s till one showed up at a local Pontiac show several years ago;

My dad bought a new GP in ‘89;
At the time they seemed so futuristic - I loved that car.
Stuff like the little display at the front of the console only added to the “cool” factor to the 11 (or 12) year old.
Unfortunately he got rid of it, like every other car - he had it just long enough to lose a pile of money on it! ha-ha!

Quite likely one of few '70 Muncie three speed Formula 400's left.
1991 Grand Am: 14.4 @ 93.7mph (DA corrected) (retired DD, stock appearing)
2009 Cobalt SS: 13.9 @ 103mph (current DD; makes something north of 300hp & 350ft/lbs)
