Between the images and description I am guessing Paul made a simple mistake on this listing;
It looks like he has used the printed circuit stamped date as the gauge pod date.
It also looks like he misread the speedo when he said it was a 160mph speedo - when it's actually a 100mph speedo (which also shows 160kph in blue)
The dual speedo readings (imperial & blue metric) first came in for 1975;
The 6k tach came in for 1977;
The speedo changed for 1979 - the secondary readings changed from blue to an orange-ish colour, and this was the first year that non-USA gauges had KPH as the predominant numbers (clocks were quartz movement this year too).
IIRC the printed circuits were the same for all 'Rally gauge w/tach' gauge pods for 1973-1979.
It looks to me as though this is a 1977/1978 gauge pod, with a replacement (from an older car) circuit board.
