I figured a set of original brackets/bushings from a TA would work...I measured the spacing of a bracket on a TA with the 1-1/4" bar and it appears to be 2-9/16" center to center, so would match the GTO frame holes. Problem is I do not have an extra set of brackets and cannot find them at the normal suppliers, except for the 'universal kit' that has the mounting holes spread too far apart. Socket head bolts would not help with the brackets i bought, you cannot even see the second bolt hole after you make the first one.


I'm still looking for aftermarket that fits or used OE brackets....if anyone has purchased aftermarket brackets/bushings that worked for this application please let me know
