Hi Rich, I don't have notes at this time (about 6 years ago)
I can see the pics you posted, notes and parts are not anything I built.
But I do remember that was a cast iron body and the red stripe that was done
by another builder.
you had me check the curve against the notes from the builder and they did not match and was adjusted.
Most common problem is simply pick up going bad or at some point not being wired properly to a full 12- volt source if you converted from breaker points.
I can not tell from your pics if you have points or conversion magnetic pick up.
