Well I took a flyer on Ames' PADDED VINYL console cover pad for the 2nd gen F-body.
Since the description said " made like original" and " correct vinyl covering" along with the word " PADDED" I had assumed it to be a half decent part.
Well, I received a RUBBERMAID molded Parts Place junk of an item.
Ok, return it. Garbage. But $18 to return ship.
Hoping AMES does the right thing and credit me for return shipping - and more importantly update the description to say it is a RUBBERMAID molded cover.

65madgoat, I do apologize for the discrepancy here concerning the vinyl covering. It looks like our note has not been updated to what we currently carry; I will be looking into this as well as the possibility of a correct vinyl covered replacement. Please feel free to email me at
