Just found out something very bad last night. One of our local POCI club members put a new (4 days old) water pump on his GTO. He won a trophy in car show,Saturday. After we left Sunday pm he was making a pass,at about 90 mph
water pump came apart fan into radiator.
Coolant on his tires. Hit both ends of car hard. I hope he can recover financially. Is this another one of those freak parts or more of bad parts from china? I've never even thought about this happening when I've raced.We have our club picnic coming up.
