Cliff - many of the MoPar dudes didn't like them when new; which is why a bunch got trash-canned. The 750's came on the performance 440's, not the Newports. The folks doing the full blown restorations were paying BIG bucks (close to RAIV bucks) for the S/T 750 AVS's. I have been sold out of these for probably 10 years, so do not know the current market. There was virtually no demand for the 340, 383, and Newport 440 carbs (630 CFM), although have sold quite a few repair kits for these.
As far as the '66 Chevy AVS, I have yet to have anyone even price a carburetor; and in 50 years, I have sold a grand total of 2 rebuilding kits.
