Many of us have had a great mentor or teacher to help us advance in the hobby. Mine was my High School auto shop teacher Mr. James Halderman. Some of you probably know the name because he went on to a full career as a College Automotive instructor and author of 19 Automotive Textbooks still in print by Prentice Hall/Pearson Education systems. He had a TON of sayings that I still use and remember. The one for this thread is: "Oil is cheaper than metal".
