The notched tanks are an 1" deeper, and the notch clears larger exhausts, like 3" tailpipes:

Pic attached of the warning on high volume pumps.

So was swapping the 260 GPH filer for the 460 GPH filter, pulled the 260 gph, opened it up and the filter was loaded with crap. I saw crap coming out when I was draining the lines, was like WTH. I had just cleaned that filter and added fresh gas even.

Long story short, the chit was coming from the station I was getting high test from. I had gone back and refilled the 5gal cans I was using even, so now I don't have a way to drain the tank without pump the crap gas thru my new pump and filter.

I think I'm going to hookup the old filter and drain the tank, and just get more cans. Still won't put that gas in my car, guess I'll have a couple seasons of garden equip gas. It's still going to go thru my new pump tho.

Uhg. So ate a fat steak and am drowning the blues with bourbon.
