I know it’s been a few months but with a newborn I have only had time to get to the track once or twice since the last update. I wanted to try a few more things with my combination before totally abandoned it but nothing has helped. We ran the bowling green d3 race two weeks ago & I made a couple changes. I put my old converter in which was a tad looser but still not what it needed to be. Crossing about 7650-7700 & stalling @ 6200. I also moved my shift points again but no change, I moved my shift from 7k-8k in 200 rpm increments & it’s made no difference. I also made a couple of carb changes & have been able to make clean passes but the track performance just isn’t there. I mentioned before that we had someone look at my heads & say they needed too much work to fix due to having too much cross section @ 94%. This person was also going to build us two intakes as well as port the new set of dci5 heads dad has. After almost exactly a year I had to get the backs untouched. I’ve had several reputable Pontiac folks tell me I’ll never get what I want with these heads as long as I’m naturally aspirated.
