just happened to me last year. i tracked down the owner of a 74 ta 455SD 4 speed car and asked if was interested in buying the original engine out of his car. he called me a scammer because his had the numbers matching engine in it. i laughed and told him im no scammer, research who i am and the fact that i have pictures where i bought the engine back in the early 80's. your engine is a restamp. oh well who cares.
