I bought the 'upgraded' p/s box [ two piece with alum front end ] from Detroit Speed. It had a clunk in the straight ahead position & DS refused to replace it.
The steering was also too heavy for my liking. The rebuilt factory box that I ended up getting was just right for feel & effort for me.
The pumping mechanisms are the same for the pumps. The output PRESSURE is controlled by shims in the pressure valve, & these can be changed.
The output VOLUME is determined by the size of the orifice in the outlet fitting, bottom of the pump, where the pressure hose bolts on.
