Tkx is in and now waiting on a dennys driveshaft which will be a few weeks I guess. Using the McLeod super street pro clutch and it has a noticeably lighter pedal than the centerforce I was using. Bought a small harbor freight trans jack which definitely helped since the car is only off the garage floor enough to move around slightly. 60 years old and I feel like I’ve done 1000 crunches getting up and down… under and out. Had to drop the headpipes to get it in there. I pray everything will work correctly because I’d hate to have to take it back out anytime soon. Even got the back up lights working. Trans was a little snug to the floor boards around the shifter tower/ bracket…..used the correct trans mount for these cars which is like 1 5/8” thick.
