Got my hood hinges back from having them refurbished and restored by
Rowland Hall
out in California. As you can see, he did an absolutely amazing job and they look factory fresh... and perform that way, too.

Finally got my hood aligned to good' nuff specifications. My hinges were badly worn and the passenger rear corner of the hood sat up too high while the gap between the fender and hood on the driver side was too narrow. I couldn't adjust out either one of those issues without exaggerating the other, but now I got it fairly well aligned. I could probably fine tune it more, but I need to learn to leave well enough alone before I scratch my paint or mess something up. These cars were far from perfect from the factory, anyhow.
She's ready to drive again after having stabbed back the trans, too! So far no leaks.
