There are options from using the factory drum spindle with different brackets, to new disc brake spindles.

In order to keep your factory 14" wheels, plan on grinding the outer edge of the calipers to clearance the wheel hoops. Unless you can find original calipers, all of the D52 repops contain a flashing and parting line ridge in the casting that will interfere with most 14" wheels.

Depending on the kit you go with, you may also need to trim the top part of the caliper bracket.

It can be done though, just need to break out some cutoff wheels and grinders.

I've used MP Brakes and Right Stuff Detailing. The MP brakes stuff feels superior to me, but everything is using Chinese origin repop parts now, so I'm not certain how much it matters.
