Do you think it is a restamp? With all due respect, why would you want a clone over this car? I owned a 69 Trans Am Convertible clone for years. I like the hood tach and I think whoever restored this car did it the way they would want it, with a hood tach, AC, and a 12 bolt rear end. I have read all of the comments on BAT, tough crowd on there! I have been in the muscle car hobby since the early 80s and I have seen cars put together from several cars that magically turned into one owner 30,000 mile cars. Lol! My point is this a nice rust free car that I can own for half the price of a Mecum type car that does 150K. I have seen more GTO Judges built around a vin and data plate than anything. I just thought someone on this forum might know where the car was built. It was in a private collection and hasn’t been driven since 2011. I am approaching 60 years old and I don’t like working on them like I used to and I always wanted a 69 Trans Am. Face it, these cars were used and abused, most cars out there are rebodied, restamped, or are full of reproduction sheet metal. I own a frame off restored matching numbers 69 Judge that is too nice to drive, I want to drive this one.
