Stock pontiac pistons are pretty dang tuff
I ran a 69-400 with 50,000 something miles for 13-years.
The last 3-year I sprayed it with 200 shot of nitras.
mind you this was a bone stock motor with a RA4 cam 670 heads
A mallery dual-point and an old torker 1 intake.
It finally spun a bearing butt that thing was tuff.
Stock pistons in a pontiac are pretty strong.
