I believe these moldings are Aluminum. So be gentle. They'll probably go on easier than coming off. I used various blocks of hardwood to carefully release the moldings from the door frame. Mine when back on a lot easier than they came off. I think I just used my hands if I remember right. It's been half a dozen years since I put them back on. I'd put them on before you install the side glass. I have not put my drip moldings on yet, nor have I installed the windshields. Edit: See the video link in a post above of a video I made about this and forgot I made it until I clicked that link, duh.....
