The Carter base plate and Carter float bowl might have been together from the factory. The top and id tag must have been added somewhere over the years. Oddly enough, the float bowl and id tag are both dated H6. This is what threw me about the id tag being from Rochester. I wish Rochester also had the casting dates on the main bowl like Carter.
Although numbers correct for interchangeability of the parts, they did not mix/match between Carter and Rochester.
