I have the extreme top as well. on my good car.
That means the top part {lid} has filter in it as well so it's like twice as much filter aera.
I plan on stacking another one on top of the 4'' that I have and will be running on the project car once I get the engine in and the hood on to measure it for height.
I will use the ball of aluminum foil as well
