Technically, the 1988 Cutlass was *also* a FWD. Not sure if there was any manufacturing overlap between the two, but the 1988 Cutlass Supreme Classic was rear drive (G) and the 1988 Cutlass Ciera was front drive (W). I expect this caused a lot of confusion at auto parts counters.
