The brand of paint can affect the shade etc. I actually remove a spoiler end cap and from there the paint was mixed . Ironically it was a younger lady who did it . She was well known to have a great eye and get the formulas down.

I didn't, just provided the code and year. What's making it harder, car was repainted 30 years ago, had a small engine fire, hood repainted a year after repaint and hood doesn't match the car. The quart I got matches the hood but not rest of the car..
