I have a 79 Cameo White T/A. When this is next to my 13 Bright White Vette, you can see that the Cameo White is a cream color. I would say that the Bright White is pure white whilst the Cameo is an off white.

The body is still all single stage lacquer with about 80% being from the factory. All of the soft rubber parts like the bumper and spoilers have been painted with modern single stage urethane that holds up better with flexible parts compared to lacquer that tends to crack over time. The urethane paint appears to be a little brighter when viewed with certain lighting. I don't know if it is due to the different base material or if the tinting is a bit off. I have observed that new cars with the factory paint and urethane bumpers also tend to be a little different compared to the neighboring body panels.
