I bought this from HF. It has a 454 on it right now with a cast iron intake. I pulled the cover off and packed more grease in it. It will rotate the engine but you have to help it while cranking. Not perfect but a lot easier than a conventional engine stand. It's rated for 1500 lbs...I'll never test that
