Interesting that these early cars that are so similarly equipped had black interiors. I wonder if that was because white ext/black int was what PMD thought the car would look best with, or there were some blue interior pieces that weren't ready for production that early. Blue was the most-ordered interior color in 70 by a long shot.

The red interior definitely did not catch on. Out of the 434 living 70 T/As I've recorded, only 11 are red interior cars.
