This is PRECISELY what I am trying to understand.
Because I hope to be helpful;
I am unaware of wiring being different, rather the recessed motor and setup doffer from non-recessed;
And right now it looks like the switch is supposed to match the other parts.
The last three digits of the switches full part number are on the back of the switch.
