The body is still all single stage lacquer with about 80% being from the factory. All of the soft rubber parts like the bumper and spoilers have been painted with modern single stage urethane that holds up better with flexible parts compared to lacquer that tends to crack over time. The urethane paint appears to be a little brighter when viewed with certain lighting. I don't know if it is due to the different base material or if the tinting is a bit off. I have observed that new cars with the factory paint and urethane bumpers also tend to be a little different compared to the neighboring body panels.

Apologies for the delayed reply. This was the kind of answer I was hoping for - a comparison side by side to another GM white / corvette. I plan to do a single state in the future and will keep it that in mind. Even now, mine is the same way where the soft parts (bumpers, spoilers, wind dams, etc) are a different shade because of the base material. Thanks again for sharing this, a big help.
