the main difference in the '67 & 68 Dualgate is in the stamped steel bracketry that mounts the '67 versus the '68 dual gate. Of course the top plates are different. The cable mtg bracket portion of the '67 GTO Dualgate extends forward & the '67 uses its own shifter cable. The '67 also uses legs that mount it to the tunnel. The '68 gto dualgate has a stamped steel plate that mounts the shifter to the floor tunnel. Have examples of both dualgate shifters, am behind on list of parts going out, but should be able to get to parts tubs later this week.
