First of all I know that it is a lot of work and money to correctly restore a Tri power set up. My question is where do you find a set that is anywhere near correct for less than $1500? Most people selling a set think it is worth an arm and a leg even when it is just a collection of misc. parts. I have a set of 1964's, 1965's and 1966's that I will not sell. Although not absolutely correct they are close. (The 1966 middle carb is one of Ames' old reproductions). I've had them 25-30 years now and being 77 years old I'll probable never use them maybe my boys will. They were all good running units and with new kits would be again.
